Lots of things going on around here, we are very busy. Last week I planted more sweet corn and this week we’ve been busy getting the transplants in the ground.
On Monday we planted the onions. There are a lot of onions. On Tuesday we planted kohlrabi, cabbage, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, and kale. Planting all those things took about half as long as planting the onions, which just shows how many onions we have. Soon we will be planting the peppers, eggplants, tomatoes, and watermelons.
The whole process went a lot smoother than I thought it would. We only had one issue with a leaky water hose on Monday, but we managed to fix that fairly quickly. Plus we had lovely weather, good thing it wasn’t raining!
I’m excited thinking about all the good things I can make for dinner once these crops start growing. It will be nice to have farm fresh veggies again.
