Green Bean and Zucchini with Garlic Scapes
Hello, Yum..what a great side dish. You can add what you please, recipes are made for changing and playing around with.

And HERE is the recipe.
Green Bean and Zucchini with Garlic Scapes
- 1-2tbsp olive oil
- 2 zucchini, yellow or green, sliced
- 1 bundle of green beans, wash em’ & trim em’
- 12 garlic scapes ( the soft flower part) cut in half
- 2 cups homemade broth or stock..or 2 cups chicken stock
- some rosemary, or herb of choice.
- grated cheese, romano cheese works good, for garnish
Time to cook:
- heat skillet with olive oil
- add garlic scapes
- Add beans and zucchini & chicken stock.
- cover & simmer for 7-10 minutes
- season with herbs & garnish with cheese
Next time toss the skillet aside and BBQ this dish!
